October 18, 2017 – Genesis 22:2

And he said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and get you into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.

– Genesis 22:2

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

God gave Abraham a son, yet asked him to return his son to God. What God did is incomprehensible to people, nevertheless, it contains the will of God. God used the trial to test whether Abraham had true obedience to Him, because He has His plan on Abraham.
