God’s name is Jehovah in the Old Testament, while His name is Jesus in the New Testament. Why are God’s names different? I came to understand the reason after reading a book.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
From these worship idols without worshipping God, and there is no place for God even in the heart of us believers in God. … The extent of corruption in our time is far and beyond what it was back in the age of Sodom. If we still fail to repent to God, we can surely imagine what our outcome shall be …verses we can see when the two angels came to Sodom to save Lot, the people of Sodom tried to harm God’s messengers. Actually, the two messengers were perfect strangers to the people of Sodom, and they had never harmed their interests, which reflects that the Sodom’s evil makes people boil with anger. God’s disposition is righteous, He couldn’t put up with such a filthy and evil city, so He decided to destroy it. People in our age are also full of evil and corruption. They pursue status and power, enjoy fleshly comforts and eat, drink, and have fun for the sake of desires of the flesh. Many people
