Moreover if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall hear you, you have gained your brother.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
The Lordshows us a path of practice: If someone shall trespass against us, we should not only learn to forgive him, but even more, we should help him with love. Of course, we need to stand in the right position to help him. When we point out his mistake, we should not blame or accuse him, but instead, we hope that he can receive the right advice and correct the mistake. say: “You must have an understanding of the people with whom you fellowship and fellowship about spiritual matters in life, only then can you supply life to others and make up for their inadequacies. You should not take a lecturing tone with them, which is fundamentally the wrong position to have. In fellowship you must have an understanding of spiritual matters. You must have wisdom and be able to understand what is in the hearts of other people. You must be a correct person if you are to serve others and you must fellowship with what you have.” From God’s words we can understand that when helping someone, we should open up to him on an equal footing and have an honest attitude to fellowship with him about the problem we see from him, as well as our understanding, knowledge and experience. Our motive is to help him instead of blaming him in the position of a just person.
