October 09, 2017 – Genesis 6:9

These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

– Genesis 6:9

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

Noah was a just man in his generations, and he had a true obedience to God. When God commanded him to build an ark, he did it; when God asked him to spread the gospel, he did as God asked. He did whatever God let him do, never asked when God would destroy the world or when there would be a flood, and never made a plan or preparation for his outcome, just leaving himself in the hands of God. We should imitate Noah to give ourselves to God and completely obey His sovereignty and arrangements.
