New Age | Gospel Movie “God’s Name Has Changed?!”

She is Wang Hua, a house church preacher in Southern China. After she began to believe in the Lord, she found from the Bible that God was named Jehovah in the Old Testament while He was named Jesus in the New Testament. “Why does God have different names?” Wang Hua felt extremely puzzled about that. She desired to get the answer from the Bible but she failed to understand the mystery…. However, she firmly believed: “There is none other name under heaven given among men, so Jesus alone is the Savior”; one will surely enter into the kingdom of heaven as long as he holds on to the name of Jesus. • God does not change..ever!

His name is but an expression of a facet of who He is.

The most encompassing name He has given us to refer to Him by is “I AM”.

God replied to Moses, “I am who i am. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.” Exodus 3:14

Jesus also used that name for Himself:

“I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I AM!” John 8:58

There is no name that could fully describe God, as His totality is beyond our ability to know.

His various names He has given us to know Him by, each do verify and establish another aspect of His being that He chooses to reveal to us.

    • Hello, Dave.
Thank you for your serious comments. Yes, there is only one true God who is the Creator and supply to us all the time. The name may change, and the work may be different, but God remains one God. The substance is still God Himself. They are one Spirit. Almighty God says, “And so, each time God comes, He is called by one name, He represents one age, and He opens up a new path; and on each new path, He assumes a new name, which shows that God is always new and never old, and that His work is always progressing forward. History is always moving forward, and the work of God is always moving forward. For His six-thousand-year management plan to reach its end, it must keep progressing onwards.“ As it says in Revelation 14:4, “… These are they which follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.” In the time when God came to work with a new name, Those who insist on the name of Jesus and refuse to accept Almighty God just become the betrayers of God, and will be eliminated by God. In the time when God came to work with the name of “Jesus,” did not abandon the true way nor betray Jehovah. In fact, they kept pace with God’s footsteps and were the ones faithful to God, while those Pharisees, who thought themselves faithful to Jehovah, insisted on keeping Jehovah’s name alone, and rejected the Lord Jesus. In the end, their loyalty was not approved by Jehovah. Quite the opposite: they were subject to God’s curses and punishment. So, we must learn from the failure of the Pharisees. We should accept the name of Almighty God and keep pace with God’s footsteps. Only thus can we receive God’s salvation.
