God’s name is Jehovah in the Old Testament, while His name is Jesus in the New Testament. Why are God’s names different? I came to understand the reason after reading a book.
November 23, 2017 – Jonah 1:2
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
– Jonah 1:2
Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
The wickedness of the people of Nineveh had reached the eyes of God, God still gave them forty days to repent and ordered Jonah to pass on His words. From this we can see God’s true love to mankind. Although we humans have been deeply corrupted and full of sin, thealways cares for us.
