Solomon, the king of wisdom, possessed wealth and intelligence, but his spirit was empty. Do you know why?

Give not that which is holy to the dogs, neither cast you your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
God treats man fairly and righteously. He is impartial toward all mankind. If we are true believers pursuing to know God, God will work in us; If we are the ones who do not love the truth but detest the truth, He will not pay any attention to us. Just assay, “If you don’t pursue understanding of God, the will not work in you. God works in those who pursue and treasure His words. The more you treasure God’s words, the more His Spirit will work in you. The more a person treasures God’s words, the greater his chance of being perfected by God. … If you treasure God’s work, if you treasure all the work that He has done upon you, He will bless you and cause all that is yours to multiply. If you do not treasure God’s words, He will not work on you….” From God’s words we know that God treats us according to our attitudes to Him. If we cherish the word of God and value the truth, God will work in us, watch over and protect us; however, if we don’t pursue the truth and cherish God’s words, He won’t work in us. This is decided by God’s righteous disposition.
