When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, those who believed the good report entered the promised land while those who believed the evil report died in the wilderness. What can we learn from it?

I have heard of you by the hearing of the ear: but now my eye sees you. Why I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
Job deserves our admiration for his rationality. After Jehovah God answered Job out of the whirlwind, he realized that he had little knowledge of God, thus repenting in dust and ashes. Reflecting on my actions, in many instances, I don’t understand the truth and have no knowledge of God, but a big talker and show off myself, even offending God’s disposition. I was really ashamed. God says, “You shall not pass judgment on God, nor casually discuss matters related to God. You should do as man ought to do, and speak as man ought to speak, and must not overstep your limits nor transgress your boundaries. Guard your own tongue and be careful of your own footsteps. All this will prevent you from doing anything that offends God’s disposition” (“The Ten Administrative Decrees That Must Be Obeyed by God’s Chosen People in the Age of Kingdom”).
