And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

God took six days to create the heavens and earth and all things. On the first day, He created the light to divide the day from the night, preparing a suitable living environment for us humans. We enjoy all the things created by God, appreciate His almightiness and beauty and goodness, and sense that God is light. In our journey of life, God is our only reliance.
