November 22, 2017 – Daniel 3:18

But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set up.

– Daniel 3:18

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold and people came to worship the gold image. But Daniel’s three friends would not worship the fake god and persisted in worshiping Jehovah God. Thus, King Nebuchadnezzar commanded the soldiers to throw them into the blazing furnace. In the furnace, God protected the three of them unharmed. From this we can see, God’s authority is unique, in addition, only true God deserves our worship forever.
