Who are you that judge another man’s servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yes, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
This verse tells us not to arbitrarily judge people. No matter how strong or weak, it’s in the hands of the Lord.
Once, a sister couldn’t attend church meetings because of her negativity and weakness. I had supported her several times, but to no avail. I got very upset and thought that she didn’t sincerely believe in the Lord, so I didn’t want to help or support her. Afterward, I felt ashamed when I remembered’ teaching: “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again” (Mat 7:1-2). Thinking of myself, when I am weak and negative, or fall in defeat, brothers and sisters would help and support me with their experience to understand Jesus’ will. Now, when I found that the sister cannot attend meetings on time, I should have considered her actual difficulties and communicated Jesus’ will with her. However, I didn’t worry about her life but arrogantly judged that she didn’t truly believe in Jesus. Looking back, I didn’t show any compassion to her and what I did wasn’t after Jesus’ will. After knowing myself, I have confessed and repented before Jesus, and would like to sustain sister. And I shared my experience with her after knowing her difficulties or confusion, and brought her difficulties before the Lord to . After several fellowships with her, she attended meetings on time gradually and later she started to serve in the church. Through this experience, I understand that regardless of what weakness or shortcomings others’ have, as long as they sincerely believe in the Lord and repent before Him after fellowships, the Lord will give them opportunities to change. So we should help and tolerate others with a loving heart, and treat everyone according to the Lord’s demands, as opposed to arbitrarily judging people. Only treating people in this way is fair and in line with the will of the .
