Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
– Matthew 6:10
Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
Here, the Lordtaught us to for the descent of His kingdom, and for God’s will being carried out on earth. Only the prayer like this is after God’s heart. And it is our Christians’ duty to pray so. Just like the records in the : the King Davis was devoting his heart to building a temple for all people to worship Jehovah God, therefore he became someone who pleased God; after Solomon ascended to throne, Jehovah God appeared to him in his dream and asked what he wanted. Yet Solomon didn’t ask for wealth or a longer life, but the only wisdom to judge the people properly. Thus, Jehovah God bestowed upon him not only wisdom but also wealth and a longer life that he didn’t ask. Now, we love God, pray for the descent of His kingdom and His will being carried out on earth, such prayer is loved and approved by the Lord.
