When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, those who believed the good report entered the promised land while those who believed the evil report died in the wilderness. What can we learn from it?

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
The Lord’ words give us great confidence and courage. When dangers and hardships come, we should know God is the Ruler and Manager of all things, and everything is all controlled by the hands of God. Everything we have comes from God, including birth and death. It reminds me of Job. Job could still keep his faithfulness to God, praised Jehovah’s holy name and stood witness for Him even though he almost lost everything: His property were stolen, and his sons and daughters lost their lives. The reason why he could stand firm in his testimony is that he always deeply believed that everything such as property, children, and even his life came from God and was controlled by Him. So, we can believe that if God doesn’t allow, death won’t come upon us, no matter how Satan harms us, it will be to no avail.
